Redundancy is a good thing. I have a File Server that stores my secondary backups, software, movies, files etc. Now, as a precaution and the fact that i believe in layers, the File Server it self and all the data it contains is backed up to an external JBOD enclosure. JBOD is essentially a cheap version of mirroring. I didn’t want to spend to much on this device and it was only being used as a secondary unit. Plus, it was purchased for $40 on the Newegg.ca Black Friday sale.
